Bi-Annual Recitals take place on the last full weekend of January & June.
Recitals are on a voluntary basis and our students are encouraged to participate.

All students are encouraged to participate in our bi-annual recitals which are provided at no additional cost.
Each student receives the following:
Unlimited Admission to the recital
Recital Accompanist (if needed)
DVD of recital - 1 per performer
Light Reception following recital
Rehearsal with the accompanist:
*Students who are performing with the accompanist need to sign up for a ten minute rehearsal time slot. (sign up sheet will be at the front desk). The rehearsal date will be announced shortly, and will be held at the Academy
Attire for performers:
*No jeans or sneakers
*Girls' skirts or dresses should be knee length or lower
*Student should practice in their recital outfit and shoes at least a few days prior to the recital
*Ensemble performers must check with their ensemble director as to the proper attire for their ensemble
*Please arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled time
*Bring student's music even if it is memorized "Just in case..."
*Performers sit in the chair with their name on it in the first or second row of the auditorium. Performers are seated in the order they are to perform
*Each recital lasts approximately 2 hours
*Audience is requested to stay for the entire recital to which the student is assigned
*Small children (non performers) must remain seated with parents/guardians during the performances
*If a child becomes disruptive during the performance, parent/guardian should quietly take him/her out of the auditorium
*NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY during performances
*Please turn off all cell phones, pagers, beepers, beeping watches, etc.
*Enter and exit before and after the recital or during applause only
